He has autism, which sometimes causes him to struggle with shyness and easily shutting down in social situations. However, once he feels comfortable, he can be silly and energetic. He is well-mannered and, although foster care is not his favorite, he is forming attachments with his current foster parents and remains hopeful about his future. He loves math and hopes to pursue a math-oriented career when he grows up.
Prince has had the same shoes for a year that were purchased by his biological mom. He is finally ready to retire his shoes and to start school with his best foot forward. He wants a brand new pair of Nike shoes that help him feel confident and remind him of the pair from his mom.
