Akheeli has requested to have a journal that locks so he has a place to record his thoughts that he cannot voice during therapy surrounding his current situation. Akheeli likes to draw and is able to express himself more through drawing than words. Akheeli wants to draw out his feelings as a way of working through this trauma. Having six younger siblings around, Akheeli needs a locking journal so he can freely express himself. This journal will give him a place to record his thoughts, feelings, and emotions that is just for him to keep private, and will help him process all he has endured.
Akheeli is 15 years old and lives in CA
Akheeli is an outgoing, very social youth. He is the oldest of his sibling set of nine. He is learning how to present with less "parentified" behaviors. He is placed in a relative placement with six of his younger siblings and is having a hard time adjusting to life without his mother and father.
