Star is living in a subsidized apartment. She loves her new place, but she currently has no furniture or bedding and is sleeping on a sleeping bag on the floor. She would really benefit from having a fresh set of sheets so that when her mattress is granted to her, she is totally prepared with her bedding necessities. She can't wait to finally have her own bed and bedding so she can have a peaceful night of rest.
Starquasia is 26 years old and lives in PA
Star was in foster care for most of her childhood. She aged out of care and currently receives continuing assistance through the Support Center's RYTA program (a program to provide follow-up care to young adults previously in foster care and currently in need). Star suffers from a mild intellectual instability. Her team was able to find her a subsidized apartment and she loves it.
