Thomas is a teenager who has been coping with unusual hardships. He has been in foster care for over a year and tragically six months ago his father passed away. Through all of these events, Thomas still thinks about how he can lend a helping hand. He is a very caring and thoughtful young man who is always thinking helping his family. Thomas tries his best at school and wants to do well. He enjoys playing basketball and video with his two brothers. Thomas's situation is certainly unique and heartbreaking, yet he has a positive attitude and wants to do the right things at home and school.

Thomas and his siblings are getting ready to reunify with their mother. As they move forward, they will need many basic personal living items as the family financial resources will be very limited. Thomas is requesting paper and ink to benefit himself and his family. This will allow them all to print their school work, job applications and other necessities. The requested paper and ink would be immensely useful and be greatly appreciated by all of them. Thomas’s wish is certainly a very worthwhile and altruistic request.
