Chelsea is so proud to finally be attending the college of her dreams after years of perseverance and dedication to her academics. Although she couldn't be happier about her academic achievements, she is struggling to afford some of the costs of attending college. The costs for her required class material is starting to add up, and she would be extremely grateful to not have to worry so much about her finances so she can enjoy her first year on campus!
Chelsea is 20 years old and lives in CA
Chelsea spent 7 years in foster care. During this time, Chelsea was forced to overcome challenges on her own and learn to advocate for herself. She believes that being in the system has helped her become stronger and more resilient. She continues to use her experience to motivate her to succeed and become a role model for younger foster youth. She is extremely proud of herself for graduating high school and attending a prestigious college. She hopes to continue pursuing her education and become a professor in the future!
