Juliana Marrufo is a young woman who has recently emancipated from foster care. She has several cognitive disabilities and is working hard to achieve her dreams of becoming a midwife/doula. She is passionate about working with young children and giving them the best entrance to life possible. She is incredibly resilient and self-sufficient, and consistently challenges her diagnoses and works hard to advocate for herself. Her brightest skills are empathy, comforting others, and communicating with the people around her!

Juli is working on getting into college and needs a computer to do so. She is currently commuting to and from the local library (about 2 hours by bus) to fill out applications and conduct research about the type of program she would like to apply to. A laptop would help immensely by shortening her commute time to the library, and instead working from home.
