Graciela attends therapy sessions once a week via Telehealth and attends an online peer support group. Graciela was provided a loaner tablet but since she has been in school it has been difficult for her to check out the tablet from her mental health agency weekly. Her caregiver has also returned to work after being laid off for over a year during COVID and it also makes it difficult for her to check out a loaner table for Graciela weekly. Having her own tablet would really help to keep up with her sessions weekly and not have to miss any.
Graciela is 19 years old and lives in CA
Graciela is a very courageous young lady. She has endured more than many of us in a lifetime but she is strong willed and looks forward to a positive future. After two placements, Graciela is now in a loving foster home with a relative caregiver. Graciela is happy to be in a new school environment with new friends. Graciela enjoys attending her peer support group and looks forward to leading a future session. Graciela loves journaling she would like to write a book one day that will help other young people that have experienced trauma .
