Maria spent 11 years in care. Their experiences in foster care have made them more determined to succeed and change society's view of foster children. They are extremely proud of graduating high school and hope to graduate college with a degree in Psychology. To Maria, education is a top priority and they are so excited to begin pursuing their education.

Maria is asking for help buying some new, warm clothes for the wintertime. It's beginning to feel very chilly at night, and quality coats are very expensive to buy. They'd be so grateful to have some help buying good clothing that will last for years!
