Stephanie is new to foster care. She is an immigrant from a Central American Country where things were dangerous and difficult for her. She came to America and still faced some of the abuses. When she found out she was pregnant, she was placed in Foster Care, where help is being sought for her in her and her baby's care. She tends to be very scared, doesn't understand much English and is striving to stay healthy but she is also trying to get used to the food that she has available to her. She now has her baby, born in the last month or so. She is learning the basics of parenting and caring for an infant.

One thing we hope that can help make Stephanie feel more welcome is a cozy warm fuzzy blanket. It is cooler here than where she used to live, particularly in the winter, and Stephanie is not a fan of the cooler weather. She would love to be able to keep warm with this awesome new blanket.
