Mackenzie has been in and out of foster care for most of her life but has recently moved into her own apartment! She is so excited to start decorating it. She has been counting down the days until she was old enough to do Independent Living instead of being placed in a resource home. Mackenzie is a bright young lady and is extremely hard working. She recently got a second job in order to pay for the new apartment and furniture. She is also going to a trade school to become an esthetician. Mackenzie would love a Home Depot gift card in order to purchase some new things for her new home!
Mackenzie is 21 years old and lives in NJ
Mackenzie has been in and out of foster care for most of her life. She has struggled with adjusting to her ever-changing environment, and often feels caught between what is best for her and her siblings and what her parents want her to do. She is always looking out for her brother and sister, and feels protective over them. She has had her fair share of troubles, but is a true survivor.
