Brittny has been in the US for about a year. She immigrated to the US from a central American Country because it was very dangerous there. She feels alone right now, and is needing to be in a safe place, and feel it. She is learning English, and is working on her schooling. She has learned some English, enough to "get by" but her desire is to be more successful. She makes good grades in school and states she has a lot to look forward to given the right opportunities. She is hoping to recognize them and take as much advantage as she can.

Brittny has very very limited pictures of her when she was growing up (in another country). She wants to document her life in America a lot better, and hopes to do that with a camera. She has made a few new friends and often talks to mom and grandma by phone, but hopes for a visit over Christmas. She would like to take pictures then.
