Luz is currently working on her Master Degree, and has housing insecurity looming overhead. Finals themselves are a hurdle difficult to overcome and the outside stressors have been weighing heavily on Luz and her family. The granting of this wish means that one of the many things on Luz's plate will be removed. This means that she can focus on her education and her family this holiday season.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
