Luz has truly enjoyed pursing her masters degree, but the pandemic has made her financial situation incredibly tight. With this wish Luz hope to purchase eating utensils, toothpaste, toothbrush, school supplies for finals, toiletry essentials, and new bedding sheets for her home. With these items Luz will be able to focus her mental energy on finishing this semester out strong, and continuing to excel academically.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
