HOLIDAY WISH

A Holiday Meal for a Uyi who has no plans for the holidays

Posted Dec 23, 2021
This years hasn't been easy on Uyi, but he has managed to maintain a positive attitude even when times get tough. Uyi's living circumstances prohibit him from cooking which is one of his favorite things to do. This year Uyi would love to celebrate the holidays by eating a nice holiday meal. Please help Uyi order a holiday meal for Christmas.

Uyi is 25 years old and lives in NY

Uyi left foster care around 2014/15, being discharged to family via a kinship placement. Unfortunately, this did not go well and by 2017 Uyi was residing in a homeless shelter. He remained there for about a year before moving to Binghamton to attend college. Uyi is not currently still in school due to his lack of a strong support system, but was linked to our agency in the hopes of locating housing back in NYC where our nonprofit, and others, can better assist him on his path to success.
