Playing video games for Joshua has always been a great stress reliever and coping mechanism for him during difficult times. Joshua recently got his first job and would love to buy one for himself, but purchasing one is something he cannot afford to do at the moment. Joshua says that being in foster care is very difficult and you are often not treated as real family, or at least this is his experience growing up in the system. Joshua feels that receiving this game console would give him a chance to feel like he has something of his very own, to have with him always even when he has to move again.
