Aaliyah is a bright and bubbly child who loves to play with LOL dolls, JoJo dolls, and Barbies. Aaliyah fell ill a few years ago and lost her hearing in both ears. Since then, she has had two surgeries to help recover her hearing and uses a special ear device to hear everyday sounds. Although Aaliyah faces many challenges, she has not let them stop her from spreading her love! She receives support services from The Homes for Children Corporation, which cares for children and youth who are abused, neglected, runaway, abandoned, homeless, and at-risk, and families that are in crisis.

Aaliyah has always wanted to go to Disney. She would love to see all of her favorite characters there, especially the minions! Aaliyah would love to dress up in her favorite princess dress for this exciting trip! She would be totally elated to go to Disney this summer if her wish came true!
