Gracelyn's aunt, who she lives with, says she has been such a joy since the day they got custody of her when she was a newborn. She is very outgoing and talkative with a great personality. She is an excellent student and has been on the A & B honor roll her whole life. This year, she had the honor of being a peer leader at school. She loves to play card and board games. She enjoys cooking and cleaning.

Gracelyn and Audrey have been best friends since they were three and four years old. They go to different schools and don’t get to see each other a lot any more, but like to stay connected. Gracelyn has been asking for this set of friendship lamps for her and Audrey for two years, but her aunt hasn't been able to budget it. The friendship lamps are connected to each other through WiFi, and different colors mean different moods. By using a remote, they can tell each other how they are feeling by the color they choose. This would make these two girls so happy to be connected, even when they are apart.
