Guiding Hope Inc.John has been in the foster care system since age seven. It is hard to believe that in less than six months he will age out of the system. Although a bit anxious regarding this life transition, John has created a future success plan to stay on track and realize his future dreams. Moving from one foster group home to another over the years has created challenges with schooling, both academically and socially. Despite obstacles, John continues to persevere with an immediate goal of obtaining his GED. Once completed, John would like to attend a local college. John is bright and articulate. Given support and encouragement, he will realize his future dreams.
John is so excited to be living with his brother. He received a XBox recently as a gift and would love a second controller so that he and his brother can play together. John loves spending as much time with his brother as possible and thinks this is a great way for them to bond.
