Alondra spent years in foster care, bouncing between her biological family and different foster care homes. Every time she went back to her family the cycles of trauma started again. She finally aged out and has been on her own ever since. She is in school full-time, and is hoping to transfer to a four year university in 2022. Alondra is so proud that she is the first in her family to graduate high school and attend college.

Alondra is excelling in school, and is really excited to start the process of transferring to a four year university. She is giving it her all at both school and her part-time job, but she is a bit behind on her finances this month. She would deeply appreciate some extra help with getting fresh fruits and veggies, pasta, dairy products and protein sources for her fridge and pantry. She also needs toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo and conditioner for her personal health. This bit of help will go a long way for Alondra.
