Maisey is a teenage girl who is developing her personality and sense of self. Maisey is learning what the world is all about. Maisey loves art, music, and like most teenage girls, the mall. Maisey is not used to living in a safe environment only needing to worry about what to wear to school the next day or turning in her assignments. It's hard for Maisey not to parent her younger siblings but with the help of her foster mom, she is thriving and learning to be a kid. Maisey is doing amazing in school and participating in sports when she is able to. Maisey saves up all of her allowances in order to have an 'emergency fund' in case she ever needs it.

Maisey is finally feeling safe and comfortable enough to want to decorate her room. It looks like Maisey will be with her foster family for a while, so they have decided to help her paint and decorate the room however she wants. Her foster parents have already spent quite a bit on new beds and bed frames, as well as curtains and paint. Maisey's case worker would love to help lessen the load for them and make Maisey very happy at the same time. Maisey has been eyeing a new comforter set at Target but thinks it's too expensive for her foster mother to buy for her. A new bedspread and pretty lamp would go a long way towards making this amazing kiddo feel safe and loved in her foster home.
