Camp to BelongBlake is a supportive brother to a sibling he was placed in a separate foster home from. He talks about his sibling throughout the year but due to geographic proximity he isn't able to see her often.
Blake is anxious about his sleepaway summer camp experience because he recently changed placements and feels underprepared without many belongings to pack. He is excited to see his sister at the program, which reunites siblings who are separated while in foster care. To help Blake feel at home and fall asleep, he is asking for a pillow, a portable fan, a flashlight, toiletries, twin sheets, and a twin comforter (or a sleeping bag). We're also going to make sure he has a stuffed animal (a "cool" one), and some quiet activities to help this high energy kid relax. Comic books and kinesthetic puzzles for the win!
