Melanie, 11 years old, CA

Melanie is a sweet and soft spoken child. Melanie takes time to open up to people and feel comfortable to talk. Melanie is working hard at her foster home to learn basic skills; showering on her own, brushing her teeth, and making her bed. Melanie loves to play with her older sister. She loves stuffed animals, dolls and arts and crafts.

Melanie has outgrown all her shoes and is in need of a sturdy new pair. She loves to play outside and needs shoes in order to play safely. She loves the Vans brand, and knows she can find just what she wants with this gift card. With a new pair of shoes, Melanie will be able to play outside with her siblings all day long.
