Lake needs a new pair of shoes, and she would love a pair of Nikes so that she fits in with her peers at school. Nikes are the very "in" sneaker right now. Lake is not sure which pair she would like, or even her shoe size in Nikes. She would like to go into a Foot Locker store so that she can try on shoes and pick out just the perfect pair for her.
Lake is 16 years old and lives in CA
Lake has had a very difficult year. She was homeless for about a year and has now been placed in foster care. Lake is a serious young woman who likes to spend her time reading mystery books. She is nervous about attending a new school since she has not been in school for months. Lake recalls her favorite subject being science. She likes science experiments. She is also fascinated by stones with her favorite being Agate.
