Angelica has an area in her yard that she would love to turn into a garden. She doesn't know how to garden quite yet, but really wants to learn how to grow some things on her own, and she thinks this would be a great activity to do with her siblings to encourage growth and nurturing. Taking care of plants can be like taking care of people - the more you put in and take good care of them, the more they thrive! She is hoping they can get some good vegetables with the great care they will give.

Angelica is a hard working girl who recently decided to take her younger siblings in when her mother lost custody. She wants to keep working and going to school while also trying to meet the needs of her siblings, and it is a lot of work. But she is committed to keeping the family together.
