Melinda is an extraordinary young girl who has endured a lot this year. She has been placed in foster care from a different state and is currently residing with a non related family member. Melinda is happy to finally be with her current caregiver. She has been in two prior placements in the past year. She is very happy that she was finally able to relocate to a more permanent home. Melinda is excited and nervous to start all over and attend a new school in a different state and make new friends. Melinda enjoys listening to music. Melinda states that music has gotten her through many difficult times. Her favorite singer is Taylor Swift.

Melinda will be attending a new school and needs new school uniforms. Melinda will also be attending summer school since she has missed so much school this last year. Melinda's new school requires uniforms and has a strict dress code. The uniforms can be costly to purchase all at once. Melinda would really like to be able to get items for an entire week of uniforms so she does not have to do laundry until the weekend.
