CA DCFS - Los Angeles CountyCherry is a respectful and funny young lady who has struggled for years with substance abuse and gang violence within her community. She is a survivor and persists every day. She has found a new sense of self-worth and is motivated to live a different life.
Cherry has returned to a foster care placement, and is now inspired and motivated to graduate from high school. She knows she has a lot of hard work to put in to catch up, and she needs a laptop to accomplish her goals. This wish will allow Cherry to keep up on her assignments and be more engaged in her school community.
