Luz's semester is ending here soon, and public transportation has been increasingly unreliable for her. With the cost of gas on the rise Luz has often been late to classes because she has been relying on the public transportation system. With this wish Luz will be able to get a few full tanks of class and have the peace of mind that she will be able to arrive to her finals on time and relaxed.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
