Recently Luz's glasses broke and is needing a new pair to complete assignments and drive to class. Without her glasses she has really been struggling to complete assignments and has been getting severe headaches. She needs her glasses to complete all of her everyday tasks. With this wish Luz's will be able to get a new pair of glasses and get rid of these headaches that have been plaguing her.
Luz is 31 years old and lives in CA
Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
