Kaliyah is so extraordinarily proud that she has been accepted to the University of St. Thomas. Kaliyah is a first generation college student, and this wish will not only guarantee her spot in the incoming freshman class, it will also ensure that she will receive the scholarship she has been awarded. She can't wait to be on campus, and learning in the classroom. Kaliyah has so many goals and dreams, and she will deeply appreciate this support towards her acceptance fee. This wish will guarantee she starts out on her academic journey prepared and on the right track!
Kaliyah is 23 years old and lives in MN
Kailyah has used her experiences, even in the hardest times, to approach life with optimism. She has developed the ability to use this perspective to create the best days she can for herself. During her time in foster care, she learned that family doesn’t always need to be blood to be relied on and supportive. She cherishes the connections she was able to create with friends and one loving family in particular that she has stayed close with even after aging out. Kailiyah says, “Foster care has helped shape me into being a kind person to everyone and to love and care for others”.
