Alexa is an independent teenager girl who has been caring for herself for over a year now after experiencing homelessness. Alexa is strong willed, courageous, and has a strength that many children do not have. She is resourceful, kind and gentle soul who wants to help others. Alexa did not attend school due to her lack of housing but since in Division custody, Alexa has expressed that she wants to be in school, attend prom and do things that other kids her age. Alexa is deserving of so much more than she has received in life and she rarely asks for anything. She would be so grateful for this opportunity to learn a new and valuable life skill.

Alexa is a street savvy young lady who loves being outside. She enjoys spending time with her peers and going to the library. She loves music, singing, and living life. She would enjoy an insulated water bottle to stay hydrated over the hot summer months.
