She aged out of foster care and has committed herself to enacting systemic change to the child welfare system. Alexis serves as a mentor to many youth, and is also a proud dog mom.

Alexis loves living in California, but is really struggling with the extraordinary gas prices. She is looking for ways to cut her gas consumption, and thinks a bike might do the trick! She is hoping to purchase a bike that she can use for getting to and from work, and will also allow her to get some great exercise in too!
