A Sandbox with a Canopy for Felix to help with his sensory play

Posted Jun 22, 2022
Felix would love a sandbox. He loves to play in the sand at daycare and it helps him with his sensory play which is something he is working on at Occupational therapy. He loves being outside and this would help him have an activity to do and also help with his therapy! He would be so happy playing in the sand and digging through with his trucks! And, this sandbox has a canopy to help keep him cool on these hot summer days!

Felix is 6 years old and lives in MN

Felix is a sweet caring little boy who went to live with his grandparents two years ago. He is one of three brothers who were taken by CPS due to neglect. He has come so far. When he first went to live with his grandparents he spoke less then 20 words and spent a lot of his time throwing fits and being violent. He was originally diagnosed with autism but after a few months with them it was found out he does not have autism but his behaviors are from the trauma and abuse that caused him to shut down. He is now almost 5 years old and speaks so well and is so kind and caring. He no longer has violet fits and he is thriving! He loves Mario and playing outside.
