Yvette has just completed her BA in psychology and is very excited to have a few weeks off before she begins the next leg of her educational journey getting MSW degree starting in August. This summer, Yvette is hoping to beat the intense southern California heat with fresh fruit smoothies.
Yvette is 23 years old and lives in CA
Yvette is a freshman at university. In high school she was very involved in marching band and competed at a very high level at many regional and state tournaments. With Yvette and her sister (both foster youth) attending four-year universities they are beating many odds as foster youth pursuing college degrees. It is still too early to tell what Yvette wants to do after graduation, but she is very hardworking and has many interests (i.e. art, science, music) whatever she does we are sure she will be successful.
