Three Months of Summer Swim Lessons for Jahkel who is overcoming his fear of water

Jahkel continues to grow and flourish in his foster home. He had a fear of water upon entering foster care, and even taking a bath was stressful for him. However, he has faced his fear with a few swim lessons and even finally started going underwater. He would love to be able to continue taking weekly swim lessons to become a better swimmer and more confidant in water. With this wish, he will be able to grow more confident in the water, and learn new skills all summer long.
Jahkel is 6 years old and lives in OH
When Jahkel was placed into foster care, he was separated from his older siblings and placed with one younger brother. Jahkel is a very bright boy with a big heart. He is always so sweet and gentle with his younger brother and loves to help him and teach him new things. He loves Paw Patrol and Superheroes. Jahkel enjoys learning new things, swimming, and playing soccer. He attends daycare part time and is loved by his friends and daycare provider for his caring and kind personality. Jahkel has some fears and can be shy, but he is finding his courage and learning to accept new challenges. He is very bonded with is foster parents and has a unique and special bond with his foster father. His face lights up when his foster dad walks into the room.
