Isaiah spent the last 3 1/2 years in foster care and was adopted at the beginning of June. Because of the difficulty to obtain documents, such as a birth certificate, while in foster care, he has not yet made a trip out of the country to see his biological dad. Isaiah's biological dad lives in Mexico. He has finally obtained the necessary travel documents so Isaiah can visit his biological father, who was deported when Isaiah was young. Isaiah is so excited, but his family needs help with hotel costs to make this possible. Having a single parent and with prices reaching an all time high, their budget is tight. Isaiah is turning 13 on July 11th and this is his only birthday wish. He is excited to learn more about his Hispanic culture and see biological family. In addition to seeing his biological father, he will get to see a his biological brother, who is 15, that he hasn't seen in over a year, as well as some biological cousins. His father has always expressed care and concern for his children despite being deported, and this trip would mean so much to everybody involved.
