Shontae is an amazing young lady who is living in an Independent Living Apartment. Shontae aged out of foster care but, continued with the Foster Futures Program where she thrived. Shontae graduated high school and is currently working part time and attending community college. Shontae has not allowed her trauma and abuse stop her from seeing good in people. Shontae is studying to be a teacher and strives to be a role model for others.

Shontae was always afraid to try and learn how to skate for fear of falling. She recently borrowed a pair of her friends roller blades and has been zipping around ever since. Shontae realizes to try new things and if she falls sh can get right back up. a new pair of roller blades of her own would be a great gift.
