Matthew is a curious young adult who has experienced much loss at his young age. Matthew has down syndrome and has had a hard time understanding why he is in foster care but he appears to be happy in group home. Matthew has made a ton of progress since coming into care as he did not walk or could get himself around without the assistance of a wheelchair. Matthew loves to play with fidget toys and items that make noise and have lights on them. Matthew loves clothes and items that have texture on them and he recently found out he loves baths.

Matthew needs new shoes, his old pair of shoes wore our since he is working on his mobility and drags his feet, his shoes wear out a lot faster now. He also needs shoes that he can practice with to put on himself with help from group home staff. With this wish he will be able to continue his journey towards increasing his skills ability.
