Luke had a wonderful opportunity this summer to go to a church camp and had so much fun. One of his favorite things besides horseback riding and archery was the saucer swings they had for the kids to swing in. He came home telling his grandmother how much freedom he felt while laying in the saucer swing and feeling the wind on his face. He would be so happy to have his own in the backyard and would enjoy swinging in it every day!
Luke is 10 years old and lives in AL
Luke is the oldest of three boys. He has 4 year old twin brothers that at one time he had to take care of because they were left alone a lot. Even now that they are safe with their grandparents, he sometimes still feels responsible for them. His grandparents are helping him transition from thinking he has to take care of the younger brothers to just being a kid and having fun. Luke is doing really well in school now and wants to be a rocket scientist when he grows up. He plays soccer, basketball and wants to be on a swim team.
