Shane didn't think he would ever make it to 18, after growing up in group homes and detention centers because no foster family wanted him. He is so proud that he made it out of foster care, and is now an advocate for other former foster youth. He is also a nature photographer, and is hoping to have his photos published in calendars and magazines.

Shane is so excited to be expecting a baby with his fiance. He is determined to be the parent that he never had.
