Samirah along with her sibling was brought into the foster care system by their mother who expressed that she could no longer care for her children. Samirah has improved tremendously since being at her placement in December 2015. She is able to attend overnight visits with her family . She is doing well in school and has maintained a "B" average. She is very respectful of her peers and staff. Samirah is celebrating a birthday in July and would like a pair of Air Jordan Sneakers as Birthday Present.

Samirah is getting to the age where she wants to explore more. Being out and experiencing new things allows her to relax and refocus. This suitcase will be useful to her as she visits places of interest in the state with her resource family and twin. She can't wait to continue to see new places, and have this beautiful bag she picked out herself.
