With her internship, which is a requirement for her degree, she has had to decrease her hours and is in a bit of a financial pinch. This car payment will relieve some financial stress for Luz, and allow her to focus her remaining funds on rent and gas.

Luz entered foster care thirteen years ago feeling broken, abandoned, and hurt. Today Luz is a full-time student pursuing her Master's degree at UC Berkeley. Luz is a firm believer that we are all unique and have our own purposes in the world. Luz's purpose is a to build a community full of powerful and determined foster youth, and uplift one another to success.
