Lucas went to live with his grandparents when he was just 5 years old. He was never able to just be a kid and when he went to live with his grandparents, he had to learn that it was ok to let go of the care of his siblings and just be a kid! He now loves sports and doing anything outside. When he first went to their home he didn't know how to give a hug, now he gives the best hugs ever. He is such a caring young man and truly cares about others.

Lucas needs some down time to be able to be a kid and not worry about his younger siblings. He is doing much better and letting go of their care but still has his moments. He has been asking for the Meta Quest 2 virtual realty headset for 2 years now but it is way out of his grandparents budget. His grandmother said she can just imagine how happy and excited he would be if his one and only wish were under the tree Christmas morning. he would be the happiest young man ever!
