Krystal became permanently involved in the system when her mom passed away at the age of 15. She has always been very independent and shortly after went into an independent living program and now lives on her own with her Pitbull, Rex, who she loves very much. She currently works in her community giving back to youth who are currently in the same situation that she once was in through DCPP. She wants to become a foster parent and accept only adolescents, and open up her own program specifically related to aging out adolescents.
