Early this year, Erika was taken away from her father. Erika struggled last school year with her grades, however, this school year, Erika is passing all her classes. Erika still struggles with low self-esteem issues, but still tries to keep a smile on her face. Erika has become close to her foster mother, who introduced her to church. Erika gave church a chance and now goes with foster mother because it helps her have faith.
