The A family is new to the Haven Academy Community. Despite Mom's anxieties and trauma, she brings them in every morning with love and laughter. She gives them each a kiss and tells them repeatedly that they are amazing and can do anything they want. They even have their own family chant! Mom values education, family, and community. She has been open to all services and supports that Haven provides. The children lost their father 2 years ago very suddenly. This moment changed the families life forever. Mom prides herself on being both the mother and the father to the children - coming in with a mustache on male role model day. She is truly an inspiration.
