Miya grew up on a Reservation and has many important ties to her culture and her family. She is very close to her sister who is almost exactly 1 year younger than her. Miya spent the last 4 years with a kinship placement and has graduated high school against all odds, and begun her college career. She is ready to spread her wings and live her life, participate in her traditions and make a new path forward.
