Miya spent the last 4 years with a kinship placement and has graduated high school against all odds, and begun her college career. She is ready to spread her wings and live her life, participate in her traditions and make a new path forward.
Miya is preparing to live on her own for the very first time. She has saved her money for a place but her personal funds don't quite cover the cost of all the furniture she needs. Miya is doing her best to make a better future for herself and she works so hard in every area of her life. She deserves a little support in getting a brand new bed and she will be so grateful if her wish comes true! She has never had any brand new furniture before, let alone a brand new bed. This will be such a meaningful gift for Miya as she prepares for her fresh start!
