Jeremy has recently gone to live with his grandparents after his mother was incarcerated and his father wasn't able to take care of him. He is a sad and confused young man who misses his life and just wants to go home. His grandparents did get him connected with a mentor who is also a baseball coach which seems to have helped his outlook a lot. He is a good student but has let his grades drop some during this adjustment, but they are coming back up now. Jeremy has a dream of going to trade school and owning his own HVAC business.
