Elvira is a former foster youth and her time in care was difficult for her. She has spent time in therapy as an adult to work through this trauma. Her time in care has helped her in her work as a social worker because she can connect on a different level with her clients. She has her Bachelors in Social Work, and works with non minor dependents. Her goal is to one day have her own nonprofit.
