Elvira has been homeless in the past, and recent events have wrecked havoc on her financial situation. She recently got into a car accident, had to take off work, and recently started a new job. She drained her savings account during her recovery from the accident, and is in a bind here. With this rent wish she will be able to get caught up financially, and not worry about becoming homeless again.
Elvira is 30 years old and lives in CA
Elvira is a former foster youth and her time in care was difficult for her. She has spent time in therapy as an adult to work through this trauma. Her time in care has helped her in her work as a social worker because she can connect on a different level with her clients. She has her Bachelors in Social Work, and works with non minor dependents. Her goal is to one day have her own nonprofit.
